  • This includes changing your type of groom from a 'Full Groom to a Mini Groom'.

  • All cancellations or reschedules for a Monday must be received by 9am on the Friday before.

  • Cancellations or Reschedules with less than 2 BUSINESS DAYS NOTICE will result in a charge of 50% of your grooming fee.

  • NO SHOWS or CANCELLATIONS on the day of your appointment will be charged 100% of your grooming fee.

Thank you and we hope you can understand.

Home Maintenance

Consistent grooming is essential to maintaining your dog's hair in good condition and prevent knots. Breeds with short hair, may suffice with a brief brush session weekly, but those with longer hair need more frequent care. Below are some suggestions for home grooming:

  • Commence grooming your dog early to establish a consistent routine.

  • Ensure you have the appropriate tools, such as a firm slicker brush and a metal comb suitable for your dog's coat type. Consult your groomer for advice if necessary.

  • Thoroughly brush and comb your dog's coat using the slicker brush first, then the metal comb to eliminate any knots completely.

  • Focus on areas of frequent movement and difficult-to-reach spots, such as the neck, ears, armpits, tail, knees, and between toes.

  • Train your dog to stand during grooming sessions as it facilitates better access and allows for a more natural positioning of their hair.

  • Brush and comb in the direction of hair growth to prevent any pulling or damage to the hair follicles.

  • Daily cleaning of your dog's eyes and ears is important. Use wipes designed for dogs or damp cloths to remove any build-up. Additionally, ensure hygienic areas are cleaned regularly.

  • Before bathing your dog, it's crucial to brush and comb their coat to remove any knots. This prevents them from tightening as the coat dries.

  • Opt for high-quality dog shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo twice and condition once to cleanse and moisturize the coat effectively. Conditioning also aids in preventing excessive oiliness between baths.

  • Complete the grooming session by applying a conditioning spray lightly, then brushing to uphold fluffiness. For thick-coated dogs, blow-drying may be necessary to ensure thorough dryness.

Once you've set up a routine, grooming should only require a few minutes each day.

If time is scarce, groomers provide services such as bath and brush or a mini groom for interim maintenance.
